How to Easily Install Back Seat Covers in Your Car (Step-by-Step Guide)

Installing car seat covers not only protects your interior but also gives your ride a fresh new look. Whether you’ve just ordered one of our leopard print car seat cover set
or another design from our Car Seat Cover Collection, this quick guide will show you exactly how to install them for a perfect fit and no tools required.

1. Prepare the Seat Area
- Remove any items or debris from the backseat.
- If possible, slide the front seats forward to create more space.

2. Install the Seat Cushion Cover (Bottom Section)
- Unfold the seat cushion cover and locate the seat belt holes. These should align with the car’s seat belt buckles.
- Lay the cover flat across the back seat cushion, ensuring the patterned side faces up.
- Tuck the elastic edges snugly around the seat corners to hold the cover in place.
- Use the attached hooks (as shown in the image) to secure the elastic loops under the seat and connect them to any sturdy edge or frame beneath the cushion to tighten the fit.
- Adjust until smooth and wrinkle-free.

3. Install the Backrest Cover (Upright Section)
- Unfold the backrest cover and identify the top and bottom edges.
- Slip the top part of the cover over the seat back, aligning the seat belt holes with the car’s existing belt positions.
- Stretch the sides and bottom of the cover so it fits snugly over the seat edges.
- Attach the elastic straps and hooks underneath or behind the seat back, securing them to the metal frame or any stable anchor points.
- Smooth the cover and check that all hooks are firmly attached and evenly tensioned.

4. Final Adjustments
- Make sure seat belt holes and any headrest openings are aligned properly.
- Reinstall headrests if removed.
- Press along seams to smooth out the fabric for a clean, tailored look.
